Scholarships at Ambassador International Academy Mankhool: Investing in Excellence and Potential

Written by Admissions Team | Jul 15, 2026 11:32:48 AM

At Ambassador International Academy Mankhool, we believe that exceptional young people have the power to shape a school community. Whether through outstanding academic achievement, inspiring performances on stage, or an unwavering commitment to excellence, some students naturally raise the aspirations of those around them. They lead by example, challenge others to aim higher, and contribute to a culture where ambition, creativity, and hard work are celebrated.

That is why we have introduced our Academic Scholarship and Performing Arts Scholarship programmes.

These scholarships in Dubai are not simply a reduction in school fees. They are an investment in young people whose talent, commitment, and character will help shape the future of our school.

As a brand-new premium IB school in Dubai, we have the unique opportunity to build our culture from the very beginning. We want to attract students who are passionate about learning, curious about the world around them, and eager to make a positive contribution to every aspect of school life.

More Than Achievement: Nurturing Potential

Many private schools use scholarships simply to reward past success. While achievement is certainly important, we believe potential matters just as much.

We are looking for students who demonstrate the qualities that inspire others. Whether that's an exceptional mathematician, a gifted musician, an accomplished young actor, or an outstanding all-round learner, we want children who will embrace every opportunity available to them while encouraging others to do the same.

Our scholars are expected to be true ambassadors for the school. They are role models through their academic commitment, behaviour, participation, and willingness to contribute positively to the wider community. We want our scholarship students to lead with humility, enthusiasm, and kindness while striving for excellence in their chosen field.

Academic Excellence Scholarships

Our Academic Excellence Scholarships recognise students who demonstrate exceptional academic ability, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine love of learning.

Applications are typically supported through a combination of previous school reports, CAT4 cognitive ability assessments, academic performance, and teacher recommendations. As a guide, students achieving CAT4 Standard Age Scores (SAS) of 125 or above are likely to present a particularly strong application, although every child is considered individually and exceptional academic performance may be demonstrated in a variety of ways.

Academic excellence comes in many forms. Some students are exceptional problem-solvers. Others demonstrate outstanding written communication, scientific thinking, or mathematical reasoning. Many are voracious readers who constantly ask thoughtful questions and challenge themselves to think more deeply. We are not looking for one particular type of learner. Instead, we are looking for students who consistently demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and who will inspire those around them to achieve their very best.

Importantly, scholarship recipients are also expected to maintain exemplary attendance, behaviour, and engagement across all aspects of school life.

Performing Arts Scholarship

Creativity is central to a truly balanced, holistic education. Our Performing Arts Scholarships recognise students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and talent across music, drama, and performance, while also celebrating the many creative roles that exist beyond the spotlight.

Applicants may already be accomplished musicians, singers, actors, or dancers. Others may have developed expertise in composition, technical theatre, lighting, sound engineering, production, or other backstage disciplines that bring performances to life. We welcome applications from students whose passion for the performing arts has been developed through school productions, external performances, graded music examinations, youth theatre, orchestras, bands, or professional experiences.

Successful applicants will normally present a portfolio of achievements, audition, or performance evidence that demonstrates both current ability and future potential.

From Grade 3 onwards, students are at an age where they can confidently represent the school while fully embracing the opportunities that performing brings. We believe this provides the right balance between encouraging talent and ensuring children are developmentally ready to perform in front of wider audiences.

A School Where Talent Can Flourish

Receiving a scholarship is only the beginning. Students joining Ambassador International Academy Mankhool will become part of a community where excellence is actively nurtured every day.

For performing arts students, opportunities extend far beyond traditional classroom lessons. Throughout the year, students will participate in informal Live Lounge performances for families, musical productions, talent showcases, assemblies, community events, and a growing programme of clubs, including choir, drama, and instrumental ensembles. As our school develops, we also plan to introduce LAMDA qualifications, providing students with internationally recognised opportunities to develop confidence and communication through performance.

Academic scholars will be surrounded by like-minded learners who enjoy intellectual challenge and curiosity. While we are proudly an inclusive school rather than a selective one academically, we believe that bringing together students with strong academic aspirations creates an environment where everyone benefits. High expectations become normal, curiosity is celebrated, and ambition becomes part of the school's culture.

Scholarships Designed for a Holistic Education

Everything we do at AIA Mankhool reflects our belief that education should develop the whole child. Our daily physical education programme, balanced approach to technology, strong reading culture, Curriculum for Innovation, and commitment to the IB programme framework all stem from the same principle: preparing young people not only for examinations, but for life.

Our scholarship programme reflects exactly the same philosophy. We are looking for students who will contribute academically, creatively, and personally to our community while developing into confident, compassionate, and internationally minded young people.

Scholarship Awards & School Fees Discount

Scholarships are awarded at up to 25% of tuition fees and are assessed individually. Awards are reviewed annually to ensure students continue to meet the expectations agreed at the time of award, including academic progress, behaviour, attendance, and contribution to school life. Current students are also welcome to apply as they develop exceptional strengths during their time with us.

For families joining our founding cohort, scholarship awards are available in addition to our Founding Family Fee, providing approximately 20% savings against our KHDA-approved tuition fees. This creates a unique opportunity for families seeking an outstanding premium education in Dubai while recognising exceptional talent and potential.

At Ambassador International Academy Mankhool, scholarships are not simply about recognising what a child has already achieved. They are about investing in what they have the potential to become.
