Welcome to the English Language Learning (ELL) Department, an integral part of Ambassador International Academy Mankhool. As an international school in Dubai, we proudly support students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, helping them develop the English language skills needed to thrive both academically and socially. 

Our mission is to empower students through tailored English language support that builds confidence, encourages inquiry, and promotes intercultural understanding. We aim to ensure that every learner can fully access the curriculum and participate meaningfully in school life. 

From Grades 3 to 5, students are supported in strengthening their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with a strong focus on building essential literacy foundations. Our ELL specialists work closely with classroom teachers to embed language support and differentiation into lessons, enabling students to engage confidently and actively in their learning. 

In the Middle Years (Grades 6 to 10), targeted English language support equips students with the academic language skills required across all subject areas. Through dynamic and engaging lessons, students develop proficiency in writing, speaking, listening, and reading, while also strengthening critical thinking and self-expression. Small-group sessions are offered to provide personalised support tailored to individual learning needs. 

For Senior Years (Grades 11 and 12), the ELL programme focuses on supporting students in mastering advanced academic English. Emphasis is placed on analytical writing, research skills, oral communication, and academic vocabulary to meet the demands of senior coursework and assessments, ensuring students are well prepared for higher education and future pathways.
